Do you belong to a technology startup in the automotive or mobility sector? If you are interested in expanding your business internationally, the Desafía Berlin 2023 programme is for you. We tell you all the details in this post!
Red.es, in collaboration with ICEX and the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Berlin, has launched the Desafía Berlin programme. In its first edition, this programme aims to support Spanish startups in the automotive and mobility sectors. Below, we tell you all the features and requirements for participation.
What is Desafía Berlin?
As mentioned above, this programme was created with the aim of boosting the growth of companies in the automotive and mobility sectors.
Thanks to this aid, companies will be able to compete on a global scale, becoming international benchmarks in technological leadership.
What is the programme about?
The programme is divided into three phases:
- First phase: consists of a week of preparation where participants will set and deepen the objectives for the next phase. It will take place in Madrid on 4 and 5 May.
- Second phase: during two weeks, participants will attend an immersion programme in which they will have group training sessions, workshops and networking events. On the other hand, they will also benefit from individual mentoring in different business fields. This phase will take place in Berlin from 22 May to 2 June.
- Third phase: called "Alumni", it is focused on accompanying and strengthening the network of contacts of the participants. The aim is to generate business opportunities.

In order to participate, startups must offer a service and/or product related to deep tech technologies in the mobility sector, for example: electric mobility technologies, clean and sustainable transport technologies... among others.
